We have a new Honorary Patron!
The PCI is overjoyed to welcome Johannes Moser as our new Honorary Patron.
PCI remains forever grateful to former Honorary Patron Yo Yo Ma for his support of our efforts and his determination to change people’s lives through music. We will continue to treasure Yo Yo’s unique approach to musical life.
German-Canadian cellist Johannes Moser performs in the world’s major concert halls and has been hailed by Gramophone Magazine as "one of the finest among the astonishing gallery of young virtuoso cellists".
Johannes has been committed to reaching out to all audiences, from kindergarten to college and beyond, throughout his career. He combines most of his concert engagements with masterclasses, school visits, and preconcert lectures. Renowned for expanding the reach of the classical genre, Johannes has a passionate focus on new music. He is heavily involved in commissioning new works and has been known to perform on electric cello.
Johannes is enthusiastic to begin his association with the PCI and we look forward to keeping up with him as he delights audiences around the world, and to finding opportunities to involve him in our activity.
