Cris Derksen comes to CelloDrama! and the Prairie Cello Institute

The Prairie Cello Institute is so fortunate to have superstar indigenous cellist/artist Cris Derksen with us this year.

As a classically trained, 'genre-defying' musician, Cris has established a unique voice using her cello and electronics, to realise her particular musical vision.

At the PCI Cris will work with our students giving insight into where her music comes from and how she creates it. She will then perform her own music as part of CelloDrama! (August 22nd), both solo and with a group of cellists.
